My Season review

I returned from my holiday and agreed to join Back Page Images the following day. It was a great decision and my first season working for them has been very enjoyable. August saw me covering early league cup games, Premier league and the Championship.
AUGUST:
Derby fans with early season optimism

SEPTEMBER:
I started to settle in to the new ways of working for the company. September saw me get to Premiership Rugby as well.

OCTOBER:
This month saw me cover my first International game for BPI. It also saw me capturing a happy Nigel Clough, which was the first time in nearly ten years of photographing him.

NOVEMBER:
November saw me travel to Cardiff to cover International Rugby, the continued rise of Tottenham's Harry Kane and my boyhood team West Ham United.

DECEMBER:
December took me to the quarter final of the Capitol One Cup and to Burnley on Boxing day to see a miserable Mario Balotelli sat on the bench.

JANUARY:
The third round of the FA Cup and a very snowy night in Wolverhampton.

FEBRUARY:
This saw me cover a very bizarre incident involving Leicester manager Nigel Pearson. It seemed very innocent at first but it soon became clear that it wasn't.

This saw me covering the LV Cup final and the start of Leicester City's amazing revival against my beloved West Ham

APRIL:
April saw me covering the continuation of Leicester City's remarkable escape story and a promotion venture into League 1.

MAY:
May saw me experience another bizarre event at the King Power stadium, a promotion at MK Dons and trip to Guernsey to cover the 99th Muratti Vase.

And finally, this trip to Guernsey also allowed me to say goodbye to a dear man. Guernsey FC physio Mike Thomas died last week, 4 days after this picture was taken. A very sad ending to a great season. Rest in Peace Mike.
